Frances Pastoria Obituary

Pastoria, Frances M.
Frances grew up in Michigan, married her childhood sweetheart, Andy, and raised four children Kathy, Anna, Jon and Richard. They moved to Los Angeles in 1984. Putting her life experience to work, she taught parenting and self-improvement classes. At 60 she went back to school and earned three degrees in six years, including a PsyD in Clinical Psychology. She saw clients until her illness. Fran loved to write and authored three books: Woman of the Ages, Being Authentically Me, and Trapani. She inspired all who met her. She will be dearly missed and never forgotten. A memorial service will be held Oct. 18 at Descanso Gardens in La Canada, CA at 4:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to "Fran Pastoria" to be used to create a family comfort room at the cancer center where she received treatment. Info: [email protected]

I was a client of Fran's in 2002. She helped me understand so many things about who I am and offered me a new way of thinking and approaching life. I just learned a few days ago of her passing. She had a remarkable gift for seeing things clearly in a confusing world. She will be missed.
