I just spoke to Frank in August of 2016 and told him I wanted to see him. He expressed that he wasn't able to play tennis anymore -- and I know that was difficult for him because he loved tennis.
As a "newbie" in California, I met Frank when training his print shop team on typography equipment. He quickly became a mentor and guide as I navigated my life in California. I learned so much from him and always appreciated his concern for others -- and for getting the job done.
Was just trying to reach him today so I could finally have that visit! Already missing his wisdom, advice and humor.
May the family be consoled in knowing Frank W Decker was a treasure and many (especially me) will treasure his memory forever.
Loving memory,
Thyonne Gordon, Ph.D

To my dear friend, I shall miss you! Our friendship spaned many years. We met at The Burbank Studios in 1970 and have been through many changes since, some good and others not so good but we always remained dear friends. In the last several years we always telephoned each other. I shall miss your calls and catch up. But now enjoy your journey and I am sure you will be reunited with your brother, Ron and you both will be having more great times together! Miss you!
