Beloved husband of Agnes Agzarian, died November 19th at home. Born July 2, 1925 in New York City, the son of John and Virginia Agzarian. "Dr. George" (as he was affectionately called by many) graduated from UCLA Cum Laude in 1946. After his naval service, Dr. George practiced in Los Angeles and Culver City for the next half century, seeing his last patient in the office three weeks ago. Dr. George became a leader in the community in which he practiced. He developed an educational program for at-risk city employees of the City of Culver City and implemented an immunization program for Hepatitis B. He served as the President of the Exchange Club of Culver City. He was a member of the Culver City Youth Health Clinic and the South Bay Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse. He was a member of the Brotman Medical Center Board of Directors. Dr. George joined the full-time faculty of the Department of Medicine at UCLA in 1995.
