George Epstein Obituary
George passed away peacefully at the age of 95 on March 29, 2022. He was a devoted husband to Irene (deceased), supportive father to David (deceased) and Sue (Stan), and adoring grandfather to Dani and Esther. Born in Boston, he attended Boston Latin School, UMass. Amherst, and MIT (chemistry). He proudly served in the Navy during World War II. In 1951, he married Irene and moved to Los Angeles where they had a loving 45-year marriage. George had a distinguished career as an aerospace engineer. After retiring, he began his "second career". He wrote poker books and columns, taught classes, played at local casinos, and is in the Senior Poker Hall of Fame. He will continue to inspire all who knew him.
