George Edmund Lugo

May 25, 1948 - December 13, 2013 George Lugo passed away peacefully in his sleep from complications related to kidney failure. His parents were Charlotte and Ruben Lugo (deceased), was born in Los Angeles and graduated from Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks. He attended UCLA as an undergraduate and graduate school at USC. George's body was donated to the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He spent over 20 years in Los Angeles county before moving to Orange County in 1978 where he and his wife Fran Lugo raised his their two children Chris and Tim Lugo. George worked at various companies in the south land as a chemical engineer including Hughes Aircraft, Baxter Healthcare, Narmco Materials, Avery Label, and Beckman Instruments. He is survived by his wife Fran, his sons Christopher and Timothy, and Christopher's three children Elizabeth, Alexandria, and Harrison. Christopher lives in the Seattle area with his wife Kristen working as a pediatric dentist while Tim lives in San Francisco with his wife Kristina working in finance. George was an active member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Irvine and the Knights of Columbus. His funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM on January 18th, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton at 9 Hillgate in Irvine, California.
