H. James Wulfsberg

Harold James "Jim" Wulfsberg passed away on 5/28/2022 from metastatic ocular melanoma at the age of 78. He died peacefully in his home in Reno, Nevada, surrounded by his dear wife and loving family.
Jim was born on May 24th, 1944 in Long Beach, CA to Rudolf Einer Wulfsberg and Margaret Grace Wulfsberg (Adams). He graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School as a football star and thespian, often commanding shared lead roles with his twin brother, Richard.
Jim graduated high school with highest honors and went on to graduate from the University of Southern California, Summa Cum Laude. He completed his law degree at the University of California Berkeley at the Boalt Hall School of Law in 1969.
He was chairman at Wulfsberg, Reese & Colvig, where he practiced construction law representing a diverse clientele worldwide. Jim was known as a powerhouse litigator often being referred to as a force of nature in the courtroom.
Among his many talents, Jim was an outstanding athlete, competing in multiple marathons and triathlons over his illustrious career and, at the age of 55, he won the Vine Man Ironman in his age group. Jim continued with his passion for running and cycling in beautiful locations around the world, from Lake Tahoe to Tuscany.
Spending quality time with his beautiful wife, loving family, and dear friends was paramount to Jim. He squeezed every ounce of joy out of life and was a shining example of living life to the fullest. Jim is survived by his wonderful wife Janet, daughter Analisa, oldest son, Tyler and his wife Brittany, youngest son Todd and his wife Dianne, his brothers Richard and David Wulfsberg, sister Elaine Hutchinson, and his grandchildren Schuyler, Safira, Isabella, Addisyn, Ellison, Hannah, Lindyn and Alannah.
Jim touched so many people all over the world, but he made the greatest impact on the family that he leaves behind.
