Harriet Wolf Obituary

May 24, 1921 - June 12, 2017 "We love you MORE." Harriet Wolf died of natural causes at her home in West Los Angeles on June 12th, 2017. Harriet will be remembered as a strong, independent matriarch of our family. Harriet was born on May 24th, 1921 in The Bronx, New York, to her loving parents, Anna and Harry Rosenfeld. Harriet grew up surrounded by her three sisters: Toby, Grace and Selma. Harriet met her husband, Ed Wolf, in New York while working at her very first job in shipping and receiving. Ed and Harriet spent many happy years together until Ed passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack in 1970. Ed was the love of Harriet's life; she never went on to remarry. Harriet led a very successful business life, from taking over Ed's trucking company to starting her own businesses. She opened a series of successful design and clothing businesses in Los Angeles, including a purse store inside Myrna's Needlepoint on Ventura Boulevard to her own multi-line showroom in the Downtown Los Angeles Mart called Rep Et Trois. Harriet is survived by many loving family members and friends. Harriet will be laid to rest next to Ed at Green Hills Mortuary in Palos Verdes, California.
