Hattie Bilson Obituary
Passed away November 6, in Santa Monica. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she came to Los Angeles in 1932 when her husband, George Bilson, was hired to head the trailer department at Warner Bros. Studio. During the 40's and 50's, Mrs. Bilson interviewed the stars of the time for fan magazines and was a regular contributor into the mid-50's when she began writing shorts for RKO. She is survived by her three sons, Bruce (Renne), TV director; Wesley (Judith), businessman and philanthropist; and Malcolm (Elizabeth), university professor and concert pianist; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
