Hazel Thor Obituary
Passed away June 17, 2002 at the age of 95. She was born September 16, 1906 in Illinois, and had been a 47-year resident of Redondo Beach. She was a member of Las Vecines, and a supporter of Little Company of Mary, and the Assistance League of San Pedro/South Bay. She was preceded in death by her husband Russell J. Thor in 1980, by grandsons Daniel M. Thor in 1989, Tommy R. Thor in 1980. She is survived by her son Richard (Ann) Thor of Palos Verdes Estates; grandson Michael Thor of Friday Harbor, WA; great-granddaughter Tracy (Corey) Marquis; great-grandson Tom M. Thor, numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be today, Thursday, June 20, 2002 at 4:00 p.m. at St. Peter's By The Sea Presbyterian Church, 6410 Palos Verdes Dr. South, Rancho Palos Verdes. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, family asks donations be made to: Thor Memorial Fund at St. Peter's By The Sea Presbyterian Church.
