Hugh McKellar Obituary

McKELLAR, Hugh
Hugh Alexander McKellar peacefully passed away Dec. 30 after a brief illness. Borh May 13, 1921. Hugh graduated from Hamilton High and cum laude from U.S.C. A loyal Trojan, he was President of the College of Commerce, President of the Junior class, and President of Kappa Sigma. He was also a member of Knights and Skull and Dagger, as well as other collegiate organizations. After serving as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy during WWII, he began his career with Squirt Co., retiring as VP of Marketing and Sales Promotion. Beloved husband of Patricia Fulham McKellar, he was predeceased by Marjorie Norton McKellar. He leaves two adoring children; son Hugh R. McKellar and his daughters Alison and Kristen, and daughter and son-in-law Robin and Greg Arthur and their children Brant, Lindsay and Peter. He also leaves seven nieces and nephews and a host of treasured friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the USC Half Century Trojan Scholarship Fund or to a favorite charity. Memorial service 1 p.m. Todayh Friday, Pacific Palisades Presbyterian Church, 15821 Sunset Blvd.
