Ivan A. Parry

Parry, Ivan A. (1915-2001) His mind was laser, his wit like a great red wine, dry, delicious, and unforgettable. During his lifetime he touched many lives and made a difference. Ivan lived by his motto, "Behold the Turtle," it makes progress only when it sticks its neck out. He believed in the right for justice and basic human rights, that it is no disgrace to lose, only a disgrace not to try. To borrow from the timeless thoughts of Elizabeth Glasser - He taught us to laugh, when all we wanted to do was cry. He taught us to help others, when all we wanted to do was help ourselves. He taught us to love, when all we wanted to do was hate. He taught us to live, when all we wanted to do was die. Goodby Ivan, you changed a part of our world for the good.
