James Phillip Keene IV obituary

James Keene Obituary

September 27, 1965 - August 2, 2015 James Phillip Keene IV passed away just one month short of his 50th birthday in his home in Las Flores, California on August 2, 2015. When Jim entered a room, it was like a breeze full of energy and festive potential. Everyone had to be hugged and eventually you would most likely hear music and laughter and singing. He was a man of many talents and had an authentic sense of compassion towards all those he came in contact with. He had such a big heart and had the innate ability to bring fun and a true connection of love and laughter to every occasion. Jim was such a hardworking man with a brilliant mind. He had a true gift of being able to connect with all he came in contact with. His work ethic and personal drive to succeed, always found him at the top of the charts in whatever professional avenue he pursued. He attended SDSU and contributed to the success of many business ventures. As a boy, he played numerous sports and was also an Eagle Scout. He loved the outdoors along with writing and creating music, but the real source of his life energy was his family. Anyone who saw Jim interact with his boys witnessed the profound undeniable love that he had for them, and knew what a great dad he was. He shared this love with his entire circle of friends and family. Family always came first. Jimbo, as everyone called him, made the world a better place and left everyone's life a little better for knowing him. Jimmy, we all "Enjoyed the Ride" with you! Jim is reunited in heaven with his loving mother, Rosemary Richardson, Uncle Rick Richardson and cousin/brother, Brett Richardson. He is survived by his wife Julia Schnurstein Keene and their two sons, Tyler James (14) and Hunter Benjamin (12), sisters Kelly Casper (Bobby), Kory Weisendanger(Christian), Becky Dansie, father James Phillip Keene III, step mother Janet Keene, and Aunt Ann Richardson.
