James Rausch Obituary

January 14, 1945 - May 31, 2016 James Gordon Rausch (nickname Jim) passed away in Long Beach, California on May 31, 2016 at the age of 71. Jim is survived by his children John Joseph Rausch of Venice, California and Teri Lynn Hernandez of Peoria, Arizona; his grandchildren Dominique, Christian, Catherine, Isabella, Gavin and Brady; his great grand-children Desirae and Ryan Noel. He is preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Frances Rausch of Los Alamitos, California. Jim was born on January 14, 1945 in Los Angeles, California to Raymond and Frances Rausch. He graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a degree in Math in 1967. Jim began working for Hi-Shear Corporation as an Aerospace engineer where he developed fasteners for military aircraft, space programs which included the Space Shuttle and commercial air planes. A celebration of life service is scheduled for June 8, 2016 at Forest Lawn Cypress at 11:00 am with reception to follow. Forest Lawn Cypress 4471 Lincoln Ave, Cypress, California 90630 All are welcome to attend and celebrate Jim's life. Flowers and condolences may be sent to Forest Lawn Cypress.
