My hearfelt condolences to the family og Jignesh Patel
While at UCLA as the surgical director of the heart transplant program I worked with Jignesh for many years. He was a superb knowlegable and compassionate cardiologist. He was a deeply appreciated and admired colleague. He always had a beautiful smile and friendly words when we saw each other in the wards, conference rooms and corridors of UCLA. What a sad loss for all who knew him. May his family in time be comforted and may we all remember him and continue to appreciate his contributions. Hillel Laks

Dr Patel, was recommended to me by Dr Trento.
What a kind, considerate, class act of a man.
It's rare I take the time to know or care about physicians now a day's, because it's rare when they take the time to care or know the patient.Things have changed. Jignesh proved them all wrong, he will be missed in many ways.
May God watch over you and bless your family.

I am very sorry to hear the sad news just now. My heartfelt condolences to the family. I did my internal medicine residency with him and cherish the moments spent in taking care of patients with Jig. He will be missed by every one who knew him.

I´m very sad!! In 2020 I was diagnosed with cardiac amyloidoses and multiple myeloma. Levels so high, a damaged heart, it didn´t look promising! Dr.Patel together with Dr. Vescio ended up saving my life.
I am forever thankful to have been treated by a man with his knowledge!
From the first day I met him (after meeting a few other cardiologists) I felt very comfortable with him and had the confidence if someone was going to be able to help me it was Dr.Patel.
Oh man he did not disappoint!!
Sadly you past away on my birthday.
Thank you for your extraordinary support during my difficult times.
I will miss you
