John Bradley Obituary

BRADLEY, John Spencer of Issaquah, WA and Studio City, CA passed away at home on July 11, 2006. He was 63 years old. John was born January 2, 1943 to Jack and Dorthea Hayman Bradley of Westwood, CA. He was the grandson of Roy and Ella Bradley of Glendale, CA. Roy Bradley was a co-founder of United Parcel Service. John was an alumni of Berkeley Hall and Blackfox Academy. He was a member of the first graduating class of the University of California-Irvine. In the late 1960's, John operated the "Royal Enclosures" shop aboard the Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA. He later managed the Smoke House Restaurant in Burbank, CA. In 1985 he purchased the Vivienne Woodard Cosmetics Company and served as CEO until his retirement in 2000. He was a renown collector of Art Deco furnishings and classic automobiles, specializing in rare Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, Packard and Duesenberg cars. He leaves behind a son and three grandchildren in Issaquah, WA, and several dear friends including Lee Myers of Studio City, CA, Anita Matthews of Issaquah, WA, and Kenneth Johnson of Riverside, CA. Funeral services are private. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2006, at 12:30 p.m., at the Old North Church, Forest Lawn, 6300 Forest Lawn Drive in the Hollywood Hills, CA. A reception will follow at the Smoke House in Burbank, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's name to the St. Jude Children's Fund.
