John Castro Obituary

March 4, 1945 - March 29, 2025 John was born in Hollywood, Ca. growing up in Burbank, Ca., with 3 siblings. He is survived by his wife Jeanne, children Chris and Beth, and 5 grandchildren.
He attended St. Finbar, Notre Dame High School and LAVC where he was a member of the Delta Sigma Psi Fraternity.
John started his own plumbing company in the early 80s, enjoying his customers as friends for decades.
An avid team sport enthusiast, he followed John Wooden and UCLA basketball, the Dodgers, Lakers and Rams. John loved coaching his kids. Little League, AYSO, St. Charles Borromeo basketball, softball, volleyball and Notre Dame High School swimming and water polo.
Carnivals were another high point for John. The 50/50 Booth at the St.Charles Festival and Color Cash at Notre Dame High School. He made sure the drawings were as big as possible!
