John C. Holmes Jr.

Holmes, Jr., John C. Nov. 4, 1923 to Jan. 20, 2005 John recently passed away in Woodland Hills after a lengthy illness. John was a life-long local resident and graduate of Woodbury College and West L.A.'s University High School. He leaves behind his children John Holmes, Robin Tripp, and Leslie Whitmore; their mother Mary Leech and five grandchildren; his wife Grace Holmes and her three children Kimberly, Nina, and Wendy; his brother Peter Holmes and sister Jill Leach, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A decade ago he retired from his accounting practice and enjoyed his retirement years. He took care in his elder life to always remember his family at Christmas and he treated his five grandchildren with gifts that helped their lives and college costs. The whole family will always live with the vibrant memories of this strong-willed, determined and extremely hard-working father, husband and brother.
