Some 35 years later, I can still remember as though it were yesterday when Monsignor Sheridan would enter my first grade class at Our Lady of Malibu. The Sister (Margaret?) would orchestrate the class to rise in unison saying, "Good Morning Monsignor Sheridan."
Monsignor Sheridan was a lovely creature.

My heart is broken - you were one of the very few who accepted me as a good Christian women, not good Catholic as by Church rule, but you accepted me, you loved me and I
was ok in your eyes.
You gave me peace, inner and outer, to be who and what I was and always had a loving smile for me - you will be in my heart and mind always when I am troubled and I will hear you - thank you for your many many years to OLM of which I was a part.
