Adele Roberta "Drossman" Hagan

Adele Hagan, age 85, of Lemitar, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, on October 11, 1940, to parents, Carl and Edith Drossman.
Adele attended Texas Tech, where she met her husband, Edward A. Hagan. They were married for 57 years.
Adele was a teacher with Socorro Consolidated Schools for 41 years. She truly enjoyed helping the children learn and grow. Since a very young age, she had a strong passion for reading. She especially enjoyed reading, and studying the scriptures and her bible.
Adele is preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward A. Hagan; her parents; and her grandson, Tyler.
She is survived by her daughters, Judy Evans, of Lemitar, NM, and Jamie Hagan of Calabasas, CA; she is also survived by several grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Adele's name to a reputable charity. Some of the many charities that the Hagan's supported were St. Jude’s, Samaritan's Purse, and the American Heart Association.
A graveside service for Adele will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 2:00 pm, at Lemitar Catholic Cemetery in Lemitar, NM. Pallbearers will be Kirt Williams, Julio Gutierrez, Joshua Gutierrez, Marcial Gutierrez, Leroy Gutierrez, Jr, and Eddie Gutierrez.
A reception will be held immediately following the graveside service at House of Prayer, in Lemitar, NM.
