I only knew Ms. Whitley Taylor through talking with my sister, Phyllis. I know Phyllis has lost a loving and caring Mother-In-Law (and Evan a loving mother). Miss June will be missed but will always have a special place in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Oh how we will miss you, June. From Red Cross days through FEMA days we have been friends, and I will so miss your avid interest in what goes on in the world and your articulate way of expressing it. Your compassion for others, and willingness to help make things better will be the shining star to follow.

June was indeed a treasure,and
FEMA has lost a real trooper; one who had her heart in exactly the right place.

I met June when we were both working in Florida after Hurricane Charlie in 2004. I was impressed with her professionalism and her friendly nature. She was the kind of person that made me proud to be on her team. I am sure she was be fondly remembered by all her friends at FEMA.
