Kenneth Coleman Obituary

COLEMAN, Kenneth R. A long-time resident of Westchester, passed away at his home on August 22nd after a long illness. Born on June 10, 1936, Kenny was the son of the late Clair C. and Ida M. Coleman of McClure, Pennsylvania. Kenny graduated from McClure High School in 1954, after which he served his country as an Army tank commander in Germany. Kenny was a popular local bartender and airline worker, retiring from Delta Airlines in 1993. Kenny was involved in local youth sports, and was very active in his church community. Kenny is survived by his devoted wife of nearly 43 years, Shirley-Anne (Long) Coleman, his children, Kelly Ann and Craig Eugene, his granddaughter Brandy Lynn, and his daughter-in-law Shelley (Kerr) Coleman. In Pennsylvania, he also leaves two brothers, Donald E. and Richard E. Coleman, and their families. A Celebration of Life service will be held this Saturday, September 9th at 2:00 p.m., at the El Segundo United Methodist Church.
