Let's re wind to the mid 70's thru the 80's - Kendun Recorders was a monster in the recording industry.
Their clientele list was a literal who's who in the record business.
Artist's and producers who wanted the very best equipment and acoustics gravitated to Kendun Recorders.
I never met the man but the respect for him has and always will be to the highest degree.
Kent and Kendun Recorders set the bar for today's modern world class multi studio recording facilities.
He was a true pioneer, a gambler, and had the foresight to to know when to roll the dice.
Kent was a shooting star in our galaxy. We were lucky to have him in the real world of the L.A. recording scenery.
God Bless Kent Duncan,

i was a nobody when i went to kendun recorders in 1976 to have my one and only vinyl record album mastered...it was called "for god's sake"...but kent duncan treated me as if i were a somebody and he gave me the star treatment in the way he so conscientiously had my songs mastered...peace & love forever....

Kent, you were so kind to have confidence in me, ca. 1973-74, to offer me one of the best gigs of my life @ Kendun Recorders and Sierra Audio. Lost touch with you in the mid-80s when I changed careers but memories of you remain fresh. I remember you as kind, funny, brilliant . . . hope my thoughts get through to you, my friend. Worked for Kent in the early to mid 1980's. Never a dull moment. I lost touch with Kent in the late 80's and just recently found out about his passing through someone I knew at Kendun. I'm sorry to hear about it. It was life in the fast lane to be sure. Rest easy Kent.
