Yes he was just Keller. We met in Europe and did a barge trip after that and a visit to his home and then ours. Christmas cards for 30+ years. Last time I talked to him they were returning from Scotland. I feel like distance kept us from being best friends. Jean when you feel like it could you drop me a note? Two of my kids live in California and I was trying to track y´all down! I am so sad!!

Kent and I met in 1963 when we wee both on the college debate circuit. We become friends there and the friendship continued as we both became lawyers doing insurance work.
I marveled at the way Kent could use his accent and background to effect without appearing phony. His claim that he did not understand some pompous word or argument because he "went to a land grant college" was always devastating. I loved chiding him about how his accent never changed despite the many years that had passed since he left Missouri and accused him of having Ozark language tapes so he could practice in the car.
I consider myself very fortunate to have had him as a friend and will miss him sorely.
My condolences. As one who has lost a spouse, I offer both my sympathy and empathy.

Keller Family- my thoughts and prayers. You´re right, he was Keller! Keller and I enjoyed a 30 plus year relationship originating with that lovely game of golf. We shared a lot of laughs and will miss him greatly! I am comforted that a collection of his good friends such as Dick Hoffman and TY have welcomed with open arms. RIP Keller!
