Lloyd Holt Obituary
Lloyd Isaac Holt, 76, of Ft. White, passed away February 9, 2009 at his home. Mr. Holt was born in Plymouth, Maine and moved to the area in 1990 from Connecticut. He was a veteran of the US Army and was a mason. He received his doctorate degree in higher education and retired as the dean at Manchester Community College. His hobbies included woodworking and making furniture.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Beverly Holt, daughters Rebecca Curlin (Tim) of Ft. White, Geraldine Rimstidt (David) of Palm Coast, and Rachel Holt of Williston, brother Ivan Holt of Plymouth, ME., sister Thelma Holt, of Gainesville, grandchildren Tavis Holt, Nicole Heather Rimstidt, and Erica Meagan Rimstidt.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 11:00 am at Forest Meadows Memorial Park Central, Chapel in the Meadows, 4100 NW 39th Ave., Gainesville, Fl. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Florida Division, 3709 W. Jetton Ave., Tampa, FL. 33629. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Meadows Funeral Home.
