Macil Blessing Obituary
July 6, 1935 - November 24, 2010
Macil Blessing, of Thousand Oaks, who passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 24, was indeed a blessing to her family and all who knew her. Wife to Robert (Bob) Blessing and mother to Paige Moser and Darcee Rogers, Macil was the radiant warmth at the core of her family. Born July 6, 1935, she attended Hamilton High School in West Los Angeles, and became a saleswoman in the electronics industry, eventually operating her own company ICX in Westlake Village, CA. A memorial service will be held for Macil Blessing at Conejo Valley Mountain Memorial Park Mortuary, 2056 Howard Rd. Camarillo, CA 93010 on December 6 at 11 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to: City of Hope, 1055 Wilshire Blvd. #1200 Los Angeles, CA 90017, (866) 683-HOPE (4673) or go to www.cityofhope.org.

I met Macil when I was about 12, but to me she was always "Paige and Darcee's mom." Not only was she the prettiest mom I knew, she had a gentle nature and was very thoughtful, kind, and always welcoming. Every time I eat fudge and drink iced tea (a favorite pairing), I will fondly remember many years ago sitting at their family kitchen table and Paige's mom serving us her delicious creamy fudge and iced tea ... and I will smile. My condolences to all who love and miss her.

My sincerest condolences Bob. My kids to this day still fondly recall how they loved "trick or treating" at the Blessing house.
