Marilyn Janice Fishman

1932 - 2017

March 4, 1932 - December 22, 2017 Marilyn Janice Fishman was born March 4,1932 to Pearl & Charles Corbin. A lifelong resident of Los Angeles, she was born in St. Paul, MN. Known to her friends as Bunny, she graduated Dorsey High School in winter of 1950. She married Marvin Fishman in 1951; they were married until his death in 2002. They had four children: Karen, Connie, Cathleen and Daniel, who grew up in the San Fernando Valley with their dog Samantha. The couple later traveled extensively and raised two beagles, Daisy and Scout. Marilyn was a homemaker with a green thumb and impeccable taste. Interested in art, she was a talented water-colorist, sketch artist and ceramicist. She was kind and caring with a great sense of humor, and loved by all who knew her. She supported charities including City of Hope and the ASPCA. Marilyn died at St. John's Hospital in Santa Monica and is survived by her four children and two grandchildren, Shawn Elise and Terence Charles Fagan of Brooklyn.
