Marilyn Horwits Obituary

January 31, 1933 - January 9, 2018 Marilyn Horwits, 84, of Palm Desert, passed peacefully, with her husband Skip and children by her side. Marilyn was a master bridge player, an avid golfer and, back in the day, a fantastic water skier. She loved to bake and cook - her brisket making the feast. And her love for dogs was unsurpassed! Marilyn and Skip were world travelers. She walked thru her life and health challenges with dignity, grace and style. Marilyn is survived by her loving husband Skip, adoring sister Fran, devoted children Glenn (Cindy), Brian, Wayne (Susan), and Gayle (Stu), three stepchildren, 12 grandchildren, 3 nieces and numerous dear friends. The funeral will be held at 11:30am on Sunday, 1/14 in the Main Chapel of Mount Sinai Memorial Park Cemetery, located at 5950 Forest Lawn Drive, L.A. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, 383 Main Ave., 5th Floor, Norwalk, CT 06851, (203) 229-0464, website: themmrf.org.
