Martha Peterson Obituary
Martha was born April 29, 1923 in Logan, Utah, passed away after a long illness on October 11, 2004 Rancho Santa Fe, CA. Survivors are her husband, Nad A. Peterson of Rancho Santa Fe, CA and five children: Anne Carroll (Stan) Darger, Christian (Anne) Peterson, Elizabeth Chase (Henry) Ingersoll, Lane (Jodelle) Peterson, Robert (Kathleen) Peterson. Twelve granddaughters, seven grandsons. Married Nad A. Peterson September 7, l948. Martha was a life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was affiliated with the Mary Duque Guild, California Utah Women, and Chi Omega Fraternity. She served as an officer and director of Ettie Lee Homes for Youth for 25 years beginning in 1976. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker and loyal friend. She was accomplished and honored in each of these roles. She loved good music, tennis, needle point, bridge, good literature, children's books, flowers, and especially babies. She was a victim of Parkinson's disease (1995) and Alzheimer's disease (1999). Funeral Services: Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 12701 Torrey Bluff Drive, San Diego, CA on Saturday October 16, 2004 at 11:00 am, with a viewing beginning 9:30 am. (I-5 to Del Mar Heights Rd. exit. East 1 mile. Right onto Torrey Ridge Dr.) Graveside service at the Logan City Cemetery, Logan, UT., on Tuesday, October 19th at l:00 pm. Martha's most favored charity was: Ettie Lee Homes for Youth, 5146 No. Maine Ave., Baldwin Park, CA 91706. Email Registry: [email protected]

Dear Peterson Family, I am the oldest daughter of Preston Adams. I was saddened to hear of the passing of Martha. What I remember of her, was a very gracious and lovely lady. I'm sure she is having a wonderful reunion with her father and mother, who have passed on. May Heavenly Father comfort you at this time. With love.

Dear Peterson family, I am the daughter of Helen Hulme and Bill Nelson, and remember each member of Uncle E.G.'s and Aunt Phoebe's family very well as I grew up in Logan.
