I personally knew Max and he was such a lovely, kind soul. I have some comfort in knowing he is now in heaven embraced by his father Warner Leroy who loved him so very much.

Rest in Peace Max.

I feel so lucky to have known and gotten to grow up with Max. My favorite memory of him was when his Mom and Dad came into our first grade classroom and made plum pudding. I can still see his big sweet smile and his great mop of hair. I had dinner with him a few years ago in Aspen and that smile hadn't changed. It'll always be there for his friends to remember.

Max has been one of my good friends since as long as I can remember. Ive been thinking about all the time we spent together and all the laughs we've shared, and I will listen for his laugh whenever I need to smile. It's been awhile since I've seen Max, and spoke to him over a year ago. He was such a warm loving friend and I will miss him always.

I went to Dalton with Max for many years and also spent some summers with him at Camp Killooleet and Antigua Adventure. What I'll remember most about him was his kindness. He would express love easily and share it openly. Max gifted so many with his spirit, and I am happy to hold so many energetic, fun and funny memories of him in my heart.

I met Max when he was only three. He went to school with my daughter and they were friends for many years. Max came by the house with other friends. I'll always remember his smiling face. He was a lovely boy and a pleasure to have around. I am glad to have known him.
