Born in Seattle, WA, passed away June 22, 2005. Beloved mother of Ken (Nancy), Fred (Judy), Joe Isao (Cheri) and Tom (Sallie) Shitara; mother-in-law of Sue Shitara; grandmother of nine and great grandmother of eleven; sister-in-law of Misae Kato of Pearl City, HI and Fuku Kato of Tokyo, Japan; and many other relatives. Private funeral service was held June 27, 2005, at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary, with Rev, Masaya Hibino of Union Church officiating.
