Mike was a great friend of our son Justin. We are grateful that Mike and Justin were able to share their love of life in China. Mike raised the bar on living an active and full life.
Our whole family is holding you in our prayers today as you grieve and glad Justin can be with you in LA. Blessings on your family.

Teresa Riddle

June 26, 2007

I am Teresa Riddle, retired principal of Paul Revere Middle School (Brentwood) and the mother of a bright, 26 year old daughter. I was so saddened when I read Michael's obit that I felt I had to write to express my sympathies to you. It is always sad to loose one's child, but to loose a bright star, like your son, is just so defeating to the human spirit. You have my sympathies. The days ahead will be very difficult, but you have your memories of this wonderful child to help you through them.
