Michael and I shared a love and passion for film; his was in screenwriting, mine in overall filmmaking. We met while I was medical assisting (before film school) at one of his doctors appointments, and we kept in contact until just before I graduated. It was great being able to share projects with each other. I couldn't reach him after graduation and have just learned today that he passed away in January.... Michael was an amazing person and even supported my senior film project which allowed me to graduate and land my dream job. Thank you Michael

I played golf with Michael( Killer) Kane for 30 years. Riding in the same golf cart and playing with friends was a cartoon. Golf exposes how a person lives their life. He will be missed.
