Michele Griffin Obituary

July 22, 1945 - November 5, 2022 On November 5, 2022 Michele passed away peacefully at the age of 77, in San Gabriel, CA with her husband of 45 years, Jarvis at her side. She was born in Oakland, CA and was a 40-year resident of San Gabriel, CA. Michele is survived by husband, Jarvis, daughter Kathleen O'Reilly, son-in-law Justin, and grandchildren, Jake, Lindsay, Camille, and Adam, extended family and many friends. Michele was a bilingual elementary school teacher in El Monte School District for 37 years before retiring in 2004. After retirement, she enjoyed volunteer work with Pasadena Assistance League, reading, and traveling to see the sites of the world. One of the highlights was a 10-day trip to Ireland, and going to see her grandchildren was always a joy. Michele will be missed by so many. No services at this time and in lieu of flowers/gifts, please make a donation to your favorite charity in her name.
