Mollie Zucker Memoriam

August 14, 1916 - April 5, 2015 In Loving Memory of Mollie Zucker on her 100th Birthday. Mollie passed away surrounded by her family and caregivers on April 5, 2015. She is missed by her daughter Janet (Harvey), grandchildren Marcy (Frank), Ken (Melissa), great-grandchildren Jack, Kate, Emily and Ryan along with her son Bob and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Previously from N.Y., Mollie and Abe Zucker settled in West Hollywood in 1959. Mollie and Abe were married for 63 years. They owned and operated Queen's Burgers hamburger stand (Irv's Burgers) on Santa Monica Blvd. for many years. Mollie was an activist and enjoyed helping immigrants learn English, volunteering in civic activities and was an outspoken supporter of equal rights for everyone. Mollie loved hiking, being outdoors, and was a long-time member of Nature Friends, Sierra Madre Group. Mollie's hobbies included writing many stories about her life experiences. In her later years, she enjoyed reading the newspaper daily on her front porch and waving hello to neighbors walking by. We celebrate her birthday, Aug 14th, with wonderful memories and will always feel her presence in our hearts.

Mollie was a very special person. The world would be a much better place if we would more people like her
