I will never forget my interview with Morris at the Glabman distribution center. I entered his dark office after hearing for years about this legendary man, expecting the worst. Morris could not have been more gracious to me. What a gentleman. he will be missed by so many in the furniture and design industry.

I was close to the West LA store last week and recalled with great fondness the times spent there with Morris. How sad and ironic that just a few days later and he is no longer with us.

I have fond memories of Morris when I was at Henredon and he was at Glabman Furniture. He was a pleasure to do business with and had a very quick wit. I had great respect for his merchandising opinions and integrity. He will be missed by many but not forgotten.
