Nikki Goodman Obituary

August 5, 1958 - August 10, 2021 It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my daughter, Nikki Goodman. She was born on August 5, 1958 in Studio City, California to Myrna and Donald Goodman. Her stepfather and friend was Richard Berger.Nikki graduated from the gemological institute. She was a jeweler all her life as were her father and both grandfathers, she worked with a wonderful group of jewelers downtown for many years. The love of her life was her dog Handsome and she was the reason he smiled.Nikki had an artistic talent and loved the beauty of Mother Nature around her, she would capture these moments with her camera creating treasures that we always enjoyed. She was a kindhearted soul and a friend to all. Nikki was a little girl trying to keep up in the adult world.Nikki leaves a large family and friends on social media that have watched and helped find Handsome a new home.Nikki has a large group of group of friends and family that will mourn her passing.Robin, Bëbë, Tal and Simon, Richard and Karen, Anthony and Ron. Step sisters Cindy and Linda. Her lifelong friends were Paul Zimmelman and Karen Zimmelman, and last but not least, her caregiver Rosie.I, as her mother, have lost a large part of myself. In lieu of flowers, Nikki's wish was that donations be made to the Innocents Project.
