Norbert A. Cecere

June 21, 1934 - December 23, 2016 Norbert "Norm" A. Cecere, 82, passed away peacefully at his home on 12-23-16. Norm was born in Los Angeles on 6-21-34 to Joseph and Hortense Cecere. Norm was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He had a successful career in the wholesale liquor industry for more than 50 years. As a beloved coach, he spent decades working with Glendale youth in baseball, basketball, and football. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Evelyn; children, Norelyn and Greg; grandchildren, Kristina, Anthony, and Kimberly; and brother, Richard. The Vigil Service will be 7:00pm, Wednesday, January 4th, and the Funeral Mass will be 10:00am, Thursday, January 5th, both to be held at Incarnation Catholic Church in Glendale. Interment will be at San Fernando Mission Cemetery following the Funeral Mass. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the City of Hope Leukemia and Lymphoma foundation in honor of Norm Cecere.
