Paul Starke Obituary

Starke, Paul Andrew May 2, 1963 - November 26, 2001
Beloved son of Susan of Belgrade Lakes, ME. Survived by brother Jay and his children, Elizabeth, Eric and Lauren; sister Karen and her husband Gary Barber; her children Jessica Raymond and Jake Barber; and sister Julie and her husband Steve Chizmas. Preceded in death by father Robert. Also survived by long time companion and loving friend John Gallucci. He will be missed by numerous caring friends and business associates. Paul lived in Los Angeles since 1996 where he worked for several community service organizations, most recently BEING ALIVE People with HIV/AIDS Action Coalition. He was a long time member of the recovery community and his difficult passing holds deep meaning for many. Memorial Services will be held at Union Church in Belgrade Lakes on Sunday, December 9th at 5:30 PM, and at Kings Road Park, 1000 Kings Road, West Hollywood, CA on Sunday, December 16th at 2:00 PM. Donations in Paul's name may be made to the AIDS organization of your choice. Abbott & Hast Mortuary (800)528-9596.
