Peggi Randolph Obituary

February 12, 1929 - November 22, 2021 Peggi Eve Anderson Randolph took her angel wings on November 22, 2021. She was born in Detroit, MI on February 12, 1929 & moved to Columbus, OH at the age of two. At the age of 20 she moved to Los Angeles to seek fame, fortune and the California sun, where she lived until 1989 when she moved to Albuquerque, NM. She returned to California (San Diego) in 2017 at the age of 88, where she passed away at 92. She had her Masters in Multicultural Ed from Pepperdine University (Malibu). She also attended USC Library School, LA State University, Los Angeles City College, Ohio State, as well as UCLA extension where she took mostly writing classes. She was a teacher/librarian for Los Angeles Unified School District (35 years), Beverly Hills Unified School District (3 years), Rio Rancho Public Schools (NM) & Albuquerque Public Schools (NM). She retired in 2009 at the age of 80. She was also a writer, artist, actress & world traveler. In her LA days she was a docent at Los Angeles County Museum of Art (1984-1988). She had strong notions of Buddhism & enjoyed group meditations @ LA Zen Center. She loved exploring LA as an international city, adored downtown LA & Hollywood. Her pride & joy book "Josephine's Incredible Shoe & The Blackpearls" won 1st place in the category of Mainstream or Literary Novel in The SouthWest Writers annual writing contest in Fall 2009 in Albuquerque, NM. She is predeceased by her former husband Gabriel H. Randolph of Los Angeles. She is survived by her daughter Jill Randolph-Sikking, son-in-law Marcel Sikking & granddaughter Saskia Sikking of San Diego and her former partner Dr. John Tyson (Albuquerque/Taos, NM) and his children Kersti Tyson (Albuquerque/Taos, NM), Briget Tyson Eastep (Cedar City, UT) and Jono Tyson (Erie, CO).
