Raymond Casey Obituary

Casey, Raymond
Born in Newark, NJ, March 15, 1932 and died in Arcadia, CA, October 8, 2009. He was preceded in death by his son Michael Casey and is survived by his brother Richard, sisters Barbara and Peggy, his wife Sharon, sons Dan (Julie), Scott (Annie), Ted (Beatriz), Steve, and daughter Kathryn Shelly (Chris) and grandchildren Rachel, Danielle, Michael, Christian, Biannca, Matthew, Jordan, Jacob, Jack, and Ryan.
He served in the US Navy Submarine Service during the Korean War 1952-1956. He is distinguished by a 28-year career as a Police Officer with Arcadia Police Department. He was an avid lawn bowler with the Santa Anita Bowling Green Club.
Memorial Mass: 10 AM, Friday, October 16, 2009 at Annunciation Catholic Church, 1307 E Longden Ave, Arcadia, CA 91006.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggiest a small contribution may be made in his memory to the Prader-Willi California Foundation, 514 N Prospect, Ste 110 Lower Level, Redondo Bch, CA 90277, www.pwcf.org, 800-400-9994, in honor of his grandson Ryan.

Dear Sharon and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family today. I was lucky to hear such wonderful stories every 3 weeks about Ray, his family, and the love he had for you and family. Those memories will always stay close at heart. All my love Joyce Barnes.
