Rita Simeon Boags
October 29, 1938 - March 1, 2011
Rita Marie Simeon was the first born of Sarah Bezart Simeon and Albert Bernard Simeon. She was born in Chicago and the family moved to Los Angeles in 1942.
Rita graduated from Mt. St. Mary's College with a degree in chemistry and married Charles Donald Boags in 1963. She later received a Master's Degree at UCLA, then a PhD at USC in Psychology.
Leadership Technologies was the company Rita founded in 1985. Her focus was on leadership development, mentoring, and diversity planning for numerous large corporations. She was still working with her clients until shortly before she passed away.
Rita Simeon Boags is survived by her three loving children: Lisa Boags, Martin Boags (and Tina) and Sarah Boags. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters: Shirley Bezart Phillips, Omer Simeon, Lola Simeon, Richard Simeon, Kenneth Simeon and Steve Simeon. She was predeceased by her mother and father, her brother, Albert, and her sister, Arline.
Services will be held at St Jerome's Catholic Church on Saturday, March 12th at 9:30am. The address is 5550 Thornburn St., Los Angeles.
