I was so brokenhearted when I saw that Bob had passed away. Not only was Bob crucial to my early recovery, his spirit remains with me today, 35 years later as I continue this journey that began for me at 25 years old. Bob's humor, his passion, his willingness to be vulnerable, his ability to craft a terrific story out of the most painful experiences, are what I keep with me. I had the honor and pleasure of going to see Bob live at a speaking event. When I shared some of my story with him, he threw his arms around me and we hugged. I'll never forget Bob Earll...his legacy will live on in me as I continue to share and live what Bob so freely shared and gave.
