I am greatly saddened by the passing of my wonderful colleague, friend, and mentor at UCLA, Prof. Bob Kelly. Bob meant so much to me in the course of my career as a faculty member in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. He was brilliant, insightful, kind, dedicated, and selfless....he possessed all of the characteristics one could ever want to have in a professional colleague and treasured friend. Bob, you have impacted my life in amazing ways, and I will always be thankful for knowing you. Sincere condolences to your precious Karin, Nick, Jennifer, and grandchildren. As we say in Armenian, Asdvatz hokeen lusavoreh ("May God illuminate his soul")!
