Rodney Moss Obituary

MOSS, Rodney Born December 13, 1935 in Los Angeles, died August 22, 2008. Rodney is survived by his two sons, David and Matthew; his brother and sister-in-law, Stephen and Dorit; and his longtime companion, Laurie Wayne. Rodney passed away peacefully at home after battling prostate cancer. Rodney was a well-respected attorney for 47 years. He chaired the Real Property Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association from 1981-1982. Having published more than 30 articles over his career, in 2006 he received the James Acret Award for Outstanding Achievement in Construction Law Legal Writing. Rodney loved food and travel, and continued living life to its fullest well into his final year. He was a great father and loved his sons dearly. His amazing generosity, honesty, and loyalty are an inspiration for all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Agahozo Shalom Youth Village in Rwanda (ASYV.org) would be appreciated.

We were sorry to hear about your father and our prayers are with you. We know how proud he was of the two of you and although your father had many professional accomplishments, we know that his sons were what meant the most to him. Our thoughts are with you.
