Ronald Saiki Obituary
Waipahu, Hawaii born Nisei resident of Los Angeles and veteran of WWII 442nd RCT 232nd Engr. Co. passed away at home on January 10, 2003. He was predeceased by his daughter WendyRobin Reynolds, 8 brothers, and 1 sister. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lois Saiki, nee Lopes-Teixeira, and sons Gordon Saiki and Dr. Bryan Saiki; 6 grandchildren Haunani Reynolds-Dougan (Patrick Dougan), Michael Saiki, Lance Reynolds, Marilyn (Manuel) Gonzalez, Craig Saiki, and Amber Saiki; 4 great-grandchildren Ryan Saiki, Matthew Gonzalez, Jay Kealoha Dougan, and Marisa Gonzalez. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Kikuyo Saiki, 4 sisters Tsutayo Enomoto, Ellen Takiguchi, Sue (James) Miyagi, Vivian Koizumi, and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives from Hawaii. Memorial Service will be held at Green Hills Memorial Park "Chapel," 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, on Saturday, January 18, at 9:00 am with Rev. KarenFay Ramos-Young of Centenary United Methodist Church officiating, under the direction of Fukui Mortuary (213)626-0441.
