Dear Scott: It has been over 4 years since my last post and a lot has transpired during that time. Joshua became a pediatrician and sports medicine doctor, and engaged to Whitney, Brittany obtained her LPCC and masters and helps young women with eating disorders. I retired young at 60 last year, and found EDIS (every day is Saturday) largely because of your passing. My parent's both passed in 2023 and my mom loved you very much. I have gotten very close with Karen Kaplan, as well as Blake and Bradley Kaplan. I told you I would always be there for your kids and I have tried to live up to those words. While I many not understand the "true" reasons for your passing, I miss you nonetheless, and think about you every day. I have raised thousands of dollars for suicide prevention in your honor, and hope and pray you are in heaven at peace. Love, Lowell

Scott Kaplan, was my first Manager / Coach in the world of Commercial Real Estate at CB Richard Ellis. He had a huge heart. He was so sharp about people and situations, I wondered if he had x-ray vision into people's hearts. His words of wisdom truly stuck!
So glad our paths crossed. RIP "Kap"!!!
Deepest sympathies and condolences to all his family and closest friends!

Scott: You were my best friend for the past 40 years, and I will forever miss our talks, texts, laughs, trips to Vegas, memories of GBS, Iowa, living together after Iowa, standing up at each other weddings, the births of your 3 sons, and all of the wonderful moments of the past 40 years. I hope you are now at peace and I will miss you forever. I will honor your memory by being there for Brett, Blake, Bradley, Sean, Kim, and Kari. I will love you as my best friend forever; my life was better because you were in it, thanks Scotty. Love, Lowell
