Shahnaz Hussain Obituary

March 19, 1962 - February 26, 2023 Shahnaz "Shannu" Hussain was born to parents Maqbool and Parween on March 19, 1962, in Patna, India. Sudden cardiac arrest on February 26, 2023, led to her untimely death.

Shannu, an artist and athlete, majored in history at Patna's Women's College. She moved to California in 1991. She devoted her life to her family and faith. Shannu is survived by her mother, Parween; her brother, Tariq; her husband of 34 years, Ejaz; her daughters, Nabila, Faaria, and Tasmia; and son-in-law, Ismail.

Everyone knew her as a funny, charitable, pious, generous, loving, wise, and iridescent individual. Shannu always said, "little things in life make you happy." She appreciated the smallest blessings and exercised kindnesses in every interaction, leaving an indelible impact and void on her family, friends, and community.

She was the eldest among all cousins in our family . A very generous and kind hearted person. She was a loving sister to me. I will always remember her and cherish her memories.

Very well written but limited as her personality was not limited in words. Her three wonderful daughters are real image to wholesome she was dedicated.
