KORNFELD, Shirley R. Born in Sioux City, Iowa, in 1916; died December 14, 2008 after a long healthy life. Beloved wife of the late Raymond; sister of Betty L. Resner; sister-in-law of Maureen Kornfeld; aunt of Barbara Seidman, Joelle M. McGonagle, Cary Kornfeld; great aunt of Emily Seidman, Teddy Seidman, Anthony Rosson, Justine McGonagle and Francesca Kennedy; great great aunt of Chase Rosson, Jenna Rosson, Emma Rosson, Madyson Kennedy and Kayla Kennedy. Graduated University of California Berkeley. Active in numerous philanthropic organizations including Jewish Free Loan, Henry George School of Social Sciences, and University of Pennsylvania.
