Terry Hacker Obituary

HACKER, Terry L. "Hack" Age 64, a long time Los Angeles resident passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 6, 2008 in Paynesville, Minnesota. Hack was born on August 4, 1943 in Bloomington, Indiana. He was a veteran of the Marine Corps and the Vietnam War. He retired from the Los Angeles Times in 2005 after more than forty-one years of service. After his retirement he moved to Paynesville, Minnesota. Terry was united in marriage to Jayne (Anderson) Roos on December 29, 2007. Terry enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing guitar, music, fishing, hunting, softball, videography and the wonders of nature. He loved watching college football, and the History Channel. He will be remembered as a good-natured man with a wonderful sense of humor who never forgot his roots. He is survived by his wife, Jayne; three daughters, Kimberly Sanchez, Lori Holloman, and Jessica Harrison; stepchildren, Heather, Eric and Robert Roos; seven grandchildren; sisters, Linda Thomas and Ellen Thompson; brother, Virgil Hacker, and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held in Paynesville, Minnesota on Tuesday, July 15, 2008. www.danielfuneralhome.com
