I will always remember the first time I met Uncle Tom. I was about 10 years old and Tom was in Montreal and coming to our house for dinner. As he arrived, I tripped over the dog and fell through the front door plate glass window. The next thing I knew, my dad (Tom's brother Albert), Uncle Tom and I were off to the hospital where I spent the next couple of hours getting to know Tom and listening to two brothers reconnect.
Aunt Pat, Paul and Sheila, my thoughts and prayers are with you.
